History
The Psalmist said, “Great are the works of the Lord; they are studied by all whom delight in them.”
The Pentecostal City Mission Church Hagerstown was birth through Worker Diana Morgan.
The original birth name was Life Abundance Ministry arrives from the bible scripture John 10:10. This is a work the Lord had called me to do. The Church started in the basement of my home on May 30, 2021 with guidance from Bishop Donald Maxwell & Bishop Marcia Gale.
For the starting of the Church, we have purchase musical Instruments, such as Key board, microphones, mixer, speakers, camera’s, drum sets, Pulpit and all other necessary accessories to furnish the Church.
During this time we operate the Church on different platform, Zoom, Facebook and you tube. My in house members was my family; my son Jhonoy Morgan as the Musician and technical support, and my two daughters Chevvelle and Chodian and grandchildren.
During our time in the basement, we had online speakers for different countries within the Pentecostal body; and different denomination speakers. Our first praise night was combining with the Pastor and members from my former Church family with numerous online viewers. We also had our first Anniversary in basement and online on May 29, 2022, speaker Deacon Delroy Spence from Pentecostal City mission South Heaven Jamaica.
We were in the basement for one and half year, before we transition to a building, located at 112 N Potomac Street, November 1, 2022. It took three weeks of hard labor and gathering funds to purchase additional equipment’s and furniture’s to get the building ready for transition. Our first Sunday service at this location was on December 4, 2022 with six of us on a mission for God.
On May 21, 2023 we transition from Life Abundance ministry to Pentecostal City Mission Church. This was our second year Anniversary which was celebrated on June 9-11, 2023 and the ordination service for Minister Diana Morgan to Worker.
With the help of the Holy Spirit; Gradually the Church has increase in numbers; we currently have a total of 19 members. We have implemented other Church activities, such as a praise team, youth group, prayer meeting, and Sunday school.
To God be the glory.
